Dave, thanks for the feedback. Family rumor has it that great-great grand Dad decided to add an extra "e" for some reason, so I have suspected what you say. I'm not seeking anyone specifically, just how the family ended up in Indiana and from where did they migrate from. I'm in the Pacific NW, and there are a couple of others in the area with the same spelling, and a couple of others with just one "e", and I'd wager they're related somewhere down the line.
