There is a biography of Dr. Edward Sweatt of Muhlenberg County, Ky which was written in 1885 by Battle, Perrin, and Knifin. Also, you can find bios of James Lemuel Sweatt and John Turner Sweatt of Bulter County, Ky (Sons of Joseph and Suzannah Hanna Goodall). Joseph (my GGGGGGrandfather)would be a brother to George. The information that I have seen shows that George married Elizabeth Moreland 23, May 1806 in Surry NC. William Sweatt married his cousin Elizabeth Sweatt(daughter of Azariah Uriah Sweatt and Finnetta Phillips) on Jul 7, 1837 in Wilson County, Tenn. Most of the Sweatt's lived East of Lebanon at Tucker's Crossing. It looks like many of the Sweatt's moved from Wilson, Tn to Kentucky in 1848 or 1849. You might try to get a copy of the information you need on Eward. I you can not
find the information you need please on Edward contact me at and I will send you the information. William and Elizabeth Sweatt's family can be found in 1850 and 1860 Census of Bulter,Ky. I would love to share information with you.
