I know that my husband's great grandparents (William Elip Mattison and Eula Brown Sweatt) lived around Anderson and Pelzer, SC when his grandmother was growing up. I have pages copied from the ggrandparents' family Bible. It shows a T.E. Sweatt (probably Eula's father, Thomas Elijah) who died June 13, 1923, It also shows a W.C. Sweatt who died August 1941. Below that name is Alpha Barnett who died Jan. 1942. I have no idea who the last two are. Are the names familiar to you?
