I do not know if this will help, but there is a death certificate for a D.M.Swett who died on Dec.28th 1926 at the age of 81 (yrs). The information was verified by a Dick Swett. D.M. Swett is buried at the "Geiger Avenue Cemetery" or known as Confederate Soldiers Home Cemetery and also was known as the State Hospitial Cemetery in 1926 in Columbia, S.C. The death certificate number is #22788 State of South Carolina.
