Thank you for responding to my query. My James A Sweat would have been born around 1836. Do you know what the A is for in your James A? We believe the A in our James A stands for Albert. There are 2 James Sweats on the 1850 Marlboro census. One is 44, wife is Livica (looks like), sons: Warren W (looks like) 18, Robert 16, and Alin 12. The other James is 20 (appears on the 1860 census as age 30), wife Amanda, children: Charles 6, Mary A 3, with a Tempe Dutch 25 and Rebecca Dutch 2 living with him. I have not come across any of the other names you mentioned. I will keep your message, and as I progress with my research, will get back to you if I find a link. OK? Til then, take care. . . Carol
