My MORELAND family married into the George SWEATT family of Surry Co.,NC.

In my family research of other family lines, my late grandmother's family settled in Eutaw,Greene Co.,AL in 1820's.

In Surry Co.,NC in 1700's when the SWEATT family lived there, KIMBROUGH and THORNTON lines were mine also, and were neighbors to the SWEATTs. The KIMBROUGHS and THORNTON's settled in Greene Co.,AL also in the 1830's.

Have you had access to the Heritage book of Greene Co.,AL on your great-grandmother? My late grandmother was born in Hale Co.,AL in 1891 so she may have known your great grandmother, Frankie Lee SWEATT as her cousins and grandparents lived in Greene Co.,AL.

If you don't have access to the the Heritage book, let me know and I can look up and see if your Greene Co.,AL SWEATT family has a family write-up in it.
