I have a John Sweazea born approx 1804 in Georgia who married a Christina ? born in KY.
Their first child was born abt 1832 They continued to have 10 children (The 1850 Cape
Girardeau, MO census show a Mary Vivian as age 17. Her name is added onto the end and all of the rest of the children are listed in chronological age.Did she marry/die just prior to this census or was she a relative or what? Has anyone found any information on her?)They had a child, Lucinda C. Sweazea born approx. 1839 who married a James W. Eaker in Bollinger Co.,MO They had several children one of whom was Julia A. Eaker who married Columbus Marshall Francis on November 13th, 1884 (I found a copy of their marriage license in the courthouse at West Plains, it was signed by her father giving his consent and it states that they were married in the home of her parents in Oregon Co.,MO) Columbus and Julia then had three children, Rhoda Francis, Fannie Francis b. 1887 & Peter Francis. Fannie Francis married Jefferson Franklin Edson in 1904 and they in turn had 5 children. The first was Granville Ward Edson, Beulah Eve Edson (she died abt 4 yrs of age), Everett Berton Edson, Francis Walter Edson, & Ruth Ileen Edson.
Francis Walter Edson married Betty Jean Mahan on Feb 4, 1944. They had one child Margo Elaine Edson b. Nov. 18, 1949 She has two children, Andrew Edson Warm and Kirsten Anne (Warm) Enyart. Margo is now married to John Tritt.
I haven't been able to find a Birth, Marriage or Death record for either Lucinda Sweazea or James W. Eaker. Does anyone have any ideas? It's almost like they suddenly appeared and then disappeared.
