Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Alex Sweazea, son of Matthias, would have been born in the 1840's. Alex was presumed dead when his horse returned without him and he was never heard from again. Of course, he could have started a new life and named a son Alex or a cousin or other relative could have named their child after him. I'm afraid I'm not much help.
