Joann, my response won't be very encouraging.
I was born in OK in 1919 and the only other
Sweezy family I know of in OK were my parents
and one brother. There is one other in OK City who is an Arapaho indian but he got our
name from a missionary in western Kansas who
was a single man. I'm pretty well informed on the Sweezy name. You got it right although there are a lot of other spellings but that is another story. email me at if can help any.
