I have reason now to doubt an entry located in an index of marriage records for McDonough Co. The bride of Isaac SHEELEY was listed as Mary SWIGART. Since my earlier post I've found some of the family connections for Isaac's parents. His father was Samuel SHEELEY and his mother was Mary SWIGERT. Their granddaughter was Grace YOUNG, my g-grandmother. Grace's paternal grandmother was Catharine SWIGERT. Grace had told of a family connection between the YOUNG's and SHEELEY's through the SWIGERT's. My records show that Mary SWIGERT was born in 1813, and that Catharine SWIGERT was born in 1821. They could possibly be sisters. Can you help me out? Thanks
