Hi I am looking for the father of my great grandfather Solomon Gladden Swigart. We believe his name was John, perhaps John D. Swigart born in Chambersburg, Franklin County Penn or in Richland County Ohio. I am interested in their parentage or pedigree.

Perhaps your Swigart and my great Grandfather were brothers?

Solomon Gladden Swigart born June 26, 1826, Monroe Township, Richland
Co.
OH, bride was Elizabeth Miller born in Mansfield OH on January 9, 1832.
Married March 7 1850 in Richland Co. OH.
Solomon, like his father John, built and owned watersawmills and was a
farmer, he and his wife had 11 children. They moved to Noble County Indiana in 1852 thence Whitley County (near a brother he bought a farm from) and then Jasper County. He moved his family to Buffalo County, Nebraska in 1880 he died in to Ravenna, Buffalo Nebraska May 3, 1900 where he had been a County Supervisor and farmer.
