I found an 1850 census of John Swilling Houston's parents and siblings, but he is not listed. Is it possible he wasn't a sibling, but perhaps an adopted nephew or some other relation? I realize he was named in the will as a child, but perhaps he came to be part of the family because his parents died. Perhaps he was originally a John Swilling?
