It is my opinion that the Swilling family is not related to Johannes Zwilling. They have been mixed together by other researchers, but there is no evidence to suggest this is the same family. My research goes back to John Swelling [or Sweeling] who received his land Bounty in 1773. He is named as the father to George Swilling in a deed dated 1782. I am always willing to share my information and evidence with any Swilling researcher.
