The name "Solomon" seems to be a permanent fixture in our Swindell Family. Our's was James Solomon Swindell, born in Alcorn Co., MS in 1855. He moved to Hunt Co., TX about 1890. Then on to Rains Co., TX shortly after 1900. He is buried there in the Turner Cemetery. He is a son of Seth Swindell of MS and TN and, grandson of James Swindell and wife, Mary Howe Swindell of North Carolina. At one time this family lived in Hyde Co.NC. Several generations back, they came to America from England. Does any of this sound familiar to you? We would like to tie in our line with yours. Hope to hear from you. Thanks,
Gene and Janice Swindell White.
