John son of Christopher/Cason?

Swindell/Swindle Researchers including Charles Swindle:

Some of us researchers include John b. 1809 who married Elizabeth "Betsy" ROBERTS as the son of Christopher and Anna SWINDLE, and some us researchers include John as the son of Cason and Elizabeth SWINDLE.

I am looking for your souces, your documentation, and/or your reasoning for either choice. Cason willed land to his youngest son, Samuel Clark. He gave a deed of gift for land to his son Christopher Columbus (my ancestor). I am wondering if he also deeded land to his other sons. That information would help.

I have been working diligently to place the early White Co., Tennessee SWINDLEs/SWINDELLs with the correct family, and having definitive proof as to John's parents would help tremendously.
