This is an excellent Bible record. Does anyone know who now owns this particular Bible?

From a Bible, dated 1849 copied as exactly as possible – some of it is hard
to read. They had some imaginative spelling and grammar.

Jane L Conn died December 21 1900
February 10 1876 (the date was all that line said)

Retyped by John D. Hoff, III, (johnhoff3@cox.net) on 7 Jul. 2011. I do not remember where this Bible record came from or who owned the Bible at the time. I may have received it from Sybil (Swindell) Sayre of Alexandria, IN, or perhaps Mary Decker of Bloomington, IN.

There is also a Bible record for the family of Willis E. Swindell (See above/born 20 Aug. 1843). It has been published in “The Hoosier Genealogist,” Vol. 31, Number 1, March 1991, page 27. I have a xerox copy of the original which I believe I received, directly or indirectly, from Oscar F. Curtis of Bloomington, IN. He made the Bible record available to “The Hoosier Genealogist” for printing.

The name Swain is incorrect. It should be Swaim.
