Dear Cousin (?) Pat Welch,

Thanks for answering my posting. I assume you are working on the Welch family and Octavia P. Welch Swint. I have additional information including another child (a son) and the descendants of this family since I last posted an inquiry. Yes, Octavia passed away in 1897. Her husband predeceased her in 1890. They are both buried in the Presbyterian Section of the Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan, Georgia. There were 3 children, but only one, the eldest daughter Mary E. "Mamie" Swint, had children. She married a Thomas Coke Johnson. If you would like to contact me directly I can be reached at bboggs@monroeccc.edu or by phone in the evening at (734) 242-6835 Eastern time zone.
