Why do Coat of Arms site say Swint is only Irish?

I still cant figure this out. Supposedly Swint is from Gaelic "Mac Suibhne". But the Schwind, Schwend, and all the other various forms seem closely related to Swint. While for the supposed Irish version of Swint the varients are along hte lines of MacSweeney, etc. How come these sites dont have German as an option for Swint?
