Hi, Nance --

I still just have ca. 1811, probably in Washington Co, GA for the marriage of Rev. Frederic SWINT & Rebecca HARRIS. There may not be a marriage record for them that we can find. The records burned in Washington County. Rebecca's father is proven by a number of records, once of which was the 1807 GA Land Lottery showing that the orphans of Edward HARRIS were fortunate drawers, drawing Lot #85 in Baldwin County's 16th District. This became Randolph County later and still later became Jasper County where this land was situated after 1812. Frederic and Rebecca (of Hancock Co, GA) sold to Harrison JONES Rebecca's 1/5 part of of 202-1/2 acres drawn by the orphans of Edward HARRIS. [By the way, in 1828 another county named Randolph was formed, but it's Jasper County where this land is located.]

I haven't worked on my SWINT line in a long time. I don't have any more on Rebecca's ancestry yet, either. Sorry I couldn't be of any help!

Peace,
Becky
