Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
It sounds as if your grandmother belonged to the northern SWINTs, and I don't have any information on them. My SWINTs are the southern branch. If there is any connection between the two I've never heard of it. As far as I know all the southern SWINTs were descendants of John Swint who died in 1801 in Hancock County, GA and his seven sons: John, Edmund, James, Rev. Frederic, William David, Joseph and Samuel (my gg grandfather). Sorry I couldn't help you. --Becky Smith
