Mrs. Mary Louise Swope
Mrs. Mary Louis Swope of Coalmont died Thursday, June 26, 1958, at 1:15 p.m., at the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for the past five years.
She was born August 29, 1900, at Six Mile Run, R. D., the daughter of H. B. and Edith (Defibaugh) Winter.She was married to George McClellan Swope in 1930 at Bedford.
The deceased is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Himes, of Pittsburgh.There are eight grandchildren. Also surviving are six step-sons, Samuel Swope of Calvin, Robert Swope of Six Mile Run, R. D., Daniel Swope of Sparrow Point, Md., Raymond Swope of Saxton and McClellan Swope Jr., of Philadelphia and two step-daughters, Mrs. Alice Black of Newfane, N. Y., and Mrs. Dorothy Holmes of Pittsburgh.There are 42 step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 29, at 2:30 p.m. from the Methodist Church at Coalmont.The Rev. Amos Siple and the Rev. Benjamin Herrold, will officiate.Interment will be made in the Wells Valley Methodist Church Cemetery.Friends will be received at the Masood funeral home, Saxton, after 7 p.m., this evening until 11 a.m. on Sunday and from noon on Sunday at the church until the time for the service.
