my family have and still do live in yorkshire but some of the family moved to the northeast i have started to do a family tree and have not got very far your post caught my attention because you mentioned the surnaeme sykes and yorkshire my great nana was called edna-maywalsh due to marraige but her maiden name is sykes and her mother was called agness sykes and i belive they are from yorkshire if you have any leads or belive you know of any of the people i have mentioned please email me ark_15@hotmail.com
