Sykes, Slaithwaite and Stalybridge pt2!

I noticed some Slaithwaite to Stalybridge movements featuring the Sykes family on this board...

But none of them seemed to match my Sykes line whicj also moved from Slaithwaite to Stalybridge!

Working backwards from a convenient spot, I have a John Sykes born 1862 Stalybridge.

His parents were Joseph Sykes b c1830 Slaithwaite moved to Staley with his parents by 1851 m Priscilla Washington in 1860. Joseph's siblings include: John, Harry, Samuel and Hannah.

Joseph's parents were John Sykes bc1804 Slaithwaite and Martha (probably Smithie)b Slaithwaite c1807. Joseph's siblings include: Jane, Hannah, Elizbeth, Mary & John

I think that John's parents might have been a Joseph and Hannah Sykes born c1786 but this is reliant simply on the names matching John's children and that in the 1841 census they were all living on the same page in the census...

Would love to hear from anyone else following this line...

John 1804 was a 'Clothier' according to his children's baptisms, and a 'weaver' according to the censuses although he later became a watchman at a cotton mill in Stalybrdge.
