Symes-Miller marriage in IL

In 1870/12880 Kansas, I have a Edwin Symes b. 1844 in England married to Adella C. ?(poss. Miller)b. 1851 in PA. They were married prior to 1869 (birth of oldest child). The names "Edwin Symes" & "Adella C. Miller" both appear in the "Illinois, 1851-1900 Marriage Index". Can someone tell me if the index shows an accutal date of marriage between these two or any other information? I have no information that Edwin was ever in Illinois.
