Looking for descendants of Tom Symes (b. 1834 in England) and wife Sarah Davis Plumb Symes (b. 1840 in Wales). They m. in NY ca. 1870 and lived in Centerville, Allegany Co., NY. Their son John Symes, b. 1872, married Jennie ___ and had children John Jr., Florence, and Harold. Daughter Mary Symes, b. 1878, married Fred Pratt and had children Ruth, Ward, and June Pratt. I am descended from Sarah's sister, Maria Davis (Mrs. Evan T. James), and am looking to reestablish contact with cousins.
