Hi Lynn
I'm just trying to find something about the Syms in Dublin for a friend. All I know is that her g/grandfather was
Robert Syms and that he had a son John William Syms b 1905, both from Dublin and both fishermen. I suspect from circumstantial evidence in 1911 census that Robert was married to Elizabeth b ~1887 in Lancashire. Do you think that they may be related to your Syms?
Regards
Anne
