Symes in Dorset County, England

I am looking information about the children of my 3d great grandparents, John Symes & Elizabeth Legg of Askerswell Parish, Dorset County, England. The eldest, Mary Elizabeth Symes, born April 6, 1817, married Job Rendell at Whitchurch Canonicorum, Dorset, April 26, 1842. Job & Mary Elizabeth, my 2d great grandparents, emigrated to Canada in 1849. The 2d oldest, Temperance Symes, was born 1820. Thomas born 1825 & died 1827. Another son, Thomas was born 1829. John born 1832 & Robert born 1834. All the offspring were born at Askerswell. According to the text of a letter written in 1854 to Job & Mary Elizabeth from John and Elizabeth Symes, John & Robert may have also emigrated to Canada after that date. Any information, regarding any of the above, would be sincerely appreciated.
