Kevin, Not sure if there is a connection but I worked with a John Synnott( not sinnott) who died maybe eight years ago, born late 1930's, and whose roots were in Seville Place, Dublin. His widow is still alive and his eldest son, now early twenties, is named Joseph. Not sure if there is a connection but who knows. The glove looks a good fit. Revert if you need further information.
