John & Madeline (Daly) Taaffe lived in Ballinree (village), Borris, County Carlow, ca. 1897. In Aug. 1897 they had a dau. Anne Cecilia. At the time, John was a Sergeant in the Roy. Irish Constabulary. Anne, aka "Nancy," later worked for the Manchester "Guardian" in the late 1920s, and married ca. 1929/30 Alexander David Cobham, and she d. June of 1936 in York, UK.
Looking for any information on Anne's siblings, as well as on her parents John & Madeline, incl. their siblings, other spouses (if any), and their parents/ancestors. Also any other Taaffes from County Carlow or vicinity.
