My great-great-great grandmother was Elizabeth Taaffe and was married to a Thomas Taaffe. She is buried in St. Basil's Cemetary in Dushore, PA. On her tombstone it says that she was from Missouri. I am not exactly sure of the circumstances of how she arrived in PA, since my family had already lived there for generations, but I do know from our history that many Taaffe's were married to Native Americans. If I can be of any help, please let me know.
