Orla, Do your records in county Meath include a Lawerance, Patrick or Matthew Taaffe? The Naturalization papers for my great grandfather Matthew Taffe state he was born in county Meath(but it was spelled Meith).
Since the family seems to have arrived in the 1840's the official info here in NH is really scanty.Have bits and pieces but hit a stone wall when trying to go back to Ireland.
