Jonathon Taber/Tabor married Roba Brown who was descended from Brown and Sayles line. Am searching for where the name Roba, Robee, Rhobie came from that was used for many generations in the Taber/Tabor line. What does the name mean, country of origin, etc. Also am trying to gain membership in Mayflower Society and need documentation of some sort for GARDNER TABER and wife Sussanna Devol/Duval. He was the son of the above gentleman and his wife but I need more input than what I have. Any help would be appreciated. And the name goes on as my new grandaughter has been named Ashley Rhobi-ana as of Jan 19 1999.
