John Leland Tabb b 1779, d 10 Jul 1839, Shepherdstown, Jefferson Co, Va. m Elizabeth Shepherd who died 11 Oct 1804. She died on the day of birth of her only known child Elizabeth Tabb.
John Leland was the son of William Tabb b 9 Nov 1745, Gloucester Co, Va. and died in York Co, Va. William was married to was Joanna Tompkins.
They were decendents of William Tabb, England b early 1600's.
