That may be him. Charles E. Yeatman was a passenger on the Glenmore. It is known that many friends traveled together. The two published passenger lists merely list him as T. S Tabb.Genealogist Becky Barnhart identified him as "Thomas" but did not specifically cite her source. See http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=bbarnhardt&id=I402. Do you know if he went to California in 1849 with Yeatman? What information do you have on him? I have information on several passengers. Some are from Gloucester County, Richmond, Henrico County, Hanover County, Hampton, Surrey County, Matthews County. Almost all came from aristocratic families in Virginia. They formed the Madison Mining & Trading Co. purchased the ship, stocked it with trade goods and sailed to San Francisco on 4-03-1849.Most passengers are merely identified with 1st & middle initials. I am trying to identify as many as possible for a history project I'm doing. If you are interested at all in the Glenmore let me know. I have copies of a diary, memoirs and paper (written by Yeatman's
daughter-in-law Anna M.D.Yeatman.The above website has lots on Edward Yeatman. Thank you for responding to my post. I am from a small California mining town that some passengers settled in for a time. I got to wondering who they were and what happened to them.
