My great grandfather, Wilhelm Tabbert, was born in Brandenburg also, 17 November,1851. He came to the US with his mother, Auguste Krammer Tabbert, aboard the Cimbria in 1873 and setteled in northeast Iowa. Auguste was born in Klewow, Pommern, Germany 16 October,1816. I have not been able to find any information regarding his father or any possible siblings. Please keep me in mind if you happen to come across a possible link.
