Hello, I am searching for ANY information about my father's father and have thus far nothing:( My father was: Robert Leland Taber b:May 22, 1925 d: June 11, 1985...he is the son of Helen Anna Kampel b: July 07, 1904 d: Sept.19,1991...both are buried at Spring Grove Cemetery in Hamilton Co, OH...my father's name was supposedly HARRY TABER but there is some question that it may have been George or Frank??? My grandmother did marry his father but they divorced <? date>. We have been able to trace gramma's family back to the 1600's but have no other info on my father's dad's side....any "hits" would be wonderful...best of luck to all of you in your geneological endeavors!
Footnote: Robert Leland Taber was a paramutual clerk at River Downs Race Track in Cincy and married : Ida Elizabeth Jett from Cynthiana KY...he has a half brother named Richard Gordon Sturgis b: March 24, 1937...they shared the same mother:) Helen was a LPN in the Cincinnati area.
