My mother was a Taber, daughter of Ralph Lynn TAber who was the son of Luther Denton TAber. Our family was from Hardin County, Ky. My mother had cornea transplants in both eyes in the early 70's, she had started losing her eyesight and was legally blind at that point. They have blamed her vision problems on childhood disease, I think it was Scarlett fever.
