Thanks for posting this information. I take it from what you say there is no known proof that William Taberer's first wife was Ann Bennett, as stated by so many on the internet, but the second wife Ann Hallowes was the mother of Sarah Taberer who is supposedly the same Sarah (or Ann) who married Robert Spencer of Surry. Since so many say Ann Taberer and only a few say Sarah/Saria Taberer, I take it there's no conclusive proof of Robert Spencer's wife either.

The Spencers are my ancestors on one line. My late half brother's ancestor Dr. Edward Saunders is said to have married Mary Webb Hudnall, daughter of William Webb and Mary Taberer, daughter of Thomas Taberer, the son of William Taberer and his first wife.
