Sue,

Have you any ideas about where the Taberer surname originated? What part of Great Britton they may have been in during the 1600-1650s?

I am unable to find any clues to find more on Thomas Taberer, a member of the house of burgesses from 1657
to 1680. My only clue is the will of Major Thomas Taberer written on 24th of Jan. 1692 Isle of Wright, VA.

Some think he may have been from London. I've no idea how to step back in time from him. Any ideas? You are the only one I have found who is researching this surname.
