Read below for proof of ancestry:
In my search to find out the ancestry of my Frederick Dupler/Dobler/Tabler, born about 1754 of Schaefferstown, Lebanon, Pennsylvania, I have tried to piece together the many possibilities of the various Dupler/Dobler,Tupler/Tabler families. Frederick Dupler married Catharine Schell and one of their children, probably the eldest son, was named Leonard. I can't help but think that there is a connection to the immigrant ancestor Leonard. In my searching I have found proof of Leonard Dobler/Tabler's residence in Germany. I have some new information that I believe will be very exciting to those searching this line. Although I cannot prove a connection to this line at present, I am in hopes that someone will have some information to help me connect to this line. I do want to share what I have found.
The family resided in Kirchheim, Neckar, Germany. I found them in the Kirchheim Parish records as follows:

Hans Leonard Dobler married Anna Maria Stuber on 22 Sep 1705 at Kirchheim. The children found in the parish records are as follows:
Matheus Dobler, chr. 11 Feb 1707
Hans George Dobler, chr 16 Mar 1710
Maria Barbara Dobler, chr. 1 Jun 1713
Catharina Margaretha Dobler, chr. 18 Feb 1715
Andreas Dobler, chr. 9 Nov 1716
Stillborn child, born 1719
Anna Christina Dobler, chr. 12 Jan 1720
Christine Catharine Dobler, chr 23 Feb 1722
Melchior Dobler, chr. 15 Feb 1725

The burial records show the following burials for the children of Leonard and Anna Maria.
Catharina Margaretha Dobler, buried 6 Jan 1716
Andreas Dobler, buried 8 Mar 1719
Stillborn Dobler, buried 14 Jan 1719
Christine Catharine Dobler, buried 1724
Anna Christina, buried 21 Jan 1720

Therefore, the only children that survived were Matheus, George, Maria Barbara, and Melchior. The surviving children match well with the children named in the wills of Leonard and Anna Maria in America.

Hans Leonard Dobler was the son of George Dobler and Anna Maria Stuber was the daughter of Hans Melchior Stuber and Maria Eiselin.

Matheus Dobler, son of Hans Leonard Dobler and Anna Maria Stuber married Anna Christina Schneider on 6 Sep 1729 at Kirchheim. They had the following children christened at Kirchheim.
Christina Barbara Dobler, chr. 14 Jun 1730
Johann George Dobler, chr. 6 Jun 1733, buried 14 Jun 1733.
Dorothea Rosina Dobler, chr. 30 Jul 1735
Anna Maria Dobler, chr. 5 Jan 1738.
No other children are christened in Kirchheim for Matheus and Anna Christina indicating that they indeed must have moved to Pennsylvania shortly after their last childs christening.

David Told/Toldins married Maria Barbara Dobler at Kirchheim on 29 Jun 1734. They had the following children christened at Kirchheim.
Sofia Barbara Told, chr 16 Jul 1735, buried 5 Jun 1736.
George David, chr. 25 Mar 1737.
Again, David Told/Toldins and Maria Barbara Dobler must have moved to Pennslyvania shortly after their last childs christening.

The children of Melchior Dobler and Catherine Elizabeth Dhorn/Dorst are well documented so I will not expound on them in this email. I would love to exchange information with anyone searching the Dupler/Dobler/Tabler family. I am in hopes that there is additional information on the children of Matheus or George - perhaps my Frederick descending from one of them. I am in hopes that someone out there will have additional information or leads.
There were also other families in early Pennsylvania which I am trying to piece together, all in hopes of finding out where my Frederick Dupler/Dubler/Dobler/Tabler fits. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Brent
