I am anxious to connect with the descendents of Prosper Tessier Jr. I would be a cousin to them. Prosper Jr. married my greataunt, Catherine Van den Heurk, who immigrated from Holland to the Hampton area in 1863. I am especially interested in knowing if anyone has marriage information/sacramental records. The Van den Heurks were Roman Catholic.
Catherine's parents, Adrianna and Francis (Frank) Van den Heurk left Hampton around 1877, moving to Brunswick, Missouri. Although they had several children who stayed in Missouri, Francis and Adrianna (Julia) returned to Hampton and were living with Prosper Jr. and Catherine Tacey at the time of the 1900 census. I have pictures of two of Catherine's brothers and thought her descendents might like copies.
