Hello Fellow Tackaberry Hunters,
I've been suffering from Benjaminitis lately!
Does anyone know, with any degree of certainty, if there were three (3) Benjamins in a row? I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but wherever I go, the indications seem to point to that possibility.
What I have so far:
Benjamin TACKABERRY
born: 1826 in Elizabethtown, ON
died: 8 Oct 1913 in Kemptville, ON
spouse: Jane Kennedy
His father:
Benjamin TACKABERRY
born: c. 1784 in Wexford, Ireland
died: 7 Jan 1875 in Dungannon, Huron Cty, ON
spouse: Elizabeth Hayes
His father (possibly):
Benjamin TACKABERRY
born: c. 1762 in Tomagaddy, Monamolin, Co Wexford, Ireland
died: 11 Jan 1833 in Tomagaddy, Monamolin, Co Wexford,Ire.
Spouse: Elizabeth Rath
There is a bit of a glitch, however, with the last one. The birth date would indicate that he would have been 22 yrs old when his son was born. OK, so far. However, the marriage date throws everything off. This last Benjamin is listed as being married in 1793 which is quite a bit after his son's birth date (1784). That said, dates have been wrong before and I could have a wrong date somewhere along the line. I'm just wondering if I should spend any more time on this 3 Benjamin scenario or if I should abandon that idea and look elsewhere. Any help would be appreciated!
