Confirm!?? Gosh, Bill, not much in my database is actually "confirmed"! That's why I've never posted it anywhere. You see, I'm doing this family tree for my three TACKABERRY sons. A lot of the basic information was provided by my ex-husband and my oldest son (who has a lot of the documentation for the basic info). He also has some video footage of most of the TACKABERRY tombstones in the Kemptville Cemetery. From there, another member of this forum provided me with a list of all the Tackaberrys that were buried there and, if certain people were in the same grave site, I assumed they were related in some way. That said, I garnered a lot of info from the Tackaberry and Patterson (my ex's grandmother's maiden name) obits, which can be found (in PDF format) here: http://www.afhs.ab.ca/data/ontario/obituaries.html From there, I just checked a bunch of censuses from the counties of Leeds, Grenville, Kent, Grey, Oxford, (that whole general area) of Ontario. A lot of folks in this forum (and others) were very helpful also - including you. I already had John in my lineage and when you posted your line showing John and Joseph to be brothers, I just added Joseph to my line. I hate to let a "juicy" piece of info go by so, I add it. If it doesn't work out, I can always delete it or change some part of the info if I can find something somewhere else. So, you see why I can't really confirm anything. Sorry! However, hopefully, some of the info I've posted here can be helpful to you. -Dot Notify Administrator about this message?
