Not sure if this is the William you are looking for, I found this wedding notice in an old paper:
Miss Sally Holmes and William
Tacy Marry at Ellenburg
Miss Sally Holmes, daughter of
Mr and Mrs. Howard Holmes, Burke
became the bride of William Tacy,
son of Mr. and Mrs. William Tacy,
Ellenburg Center, Saturday, Septem
ber 7th, at St, Edmund's Church in
Ellenburg. The Rev. Earl Taylor officiated.
The church was decorated with vari
colored gladioli and carnations.
Traditional wedding music was played.
The bride chose a gown of white
tulle in ballerina length, a fingertip
veil and carried a colonial arrangement
of white canations and red ros
es.
Miss Janice Davis, Malone, was the maid of honor, and she wore a gown
similar to that of the bride, in blue,
and carried a colonial bouquet of
whiet and yellow pompons.
Loyal Gregory, Ellenburg, was the
best man.
The bride's mother wore a navy
blue suit with white accessories and
a cursuire of uink roses and the bride
groom's mother wore a grey suit with
white accessories and a corsage ot
pink roses.
Tile wedding breakfast was held in
Champluin after the ceremony and

were hostesses.
