Hi Emily -- we just survived Fair -- Alissa (my 13 yr old) is a horse whisperer & shows 4H. Her horse got girth sores about 2 wks before fair, so she was limited in what she could so. Still, took Grand Champion in Fitting & Showing and Reserve Champion in her pleasure class. She scratched her jumping classes (her big love)because he was hurting, but placed high enough in Equitation to qualify for Medals Classes. Is also teaching some beginners -- and was as excited about how the one who showed did as she was about herself. Can't believe we're getting ready to go back to school!!!
