Yes, I agree that Sarah Snow Taff and Samuel Snow are related.I don't know about Isaac Snow though. In another article about Charles Snow, it lists his parents as John Snow and Mary JOhnson.Isaac Snow and Hannah Grinslede had a son named Charles, but he's not the same Charles who was the lawyer. I don't have much info on the Isaac Snow and Margaret Harrod of Scott/Knox County. The only other Isaac of that time period is the one of Hamilton co. who possibly married a Rebecca and had sons Emsley and Isaac Jr.
I've got the family group as:(Jefferson county)
Horace Snow b. bet 1792-1795 m. Mary Love Dillard and moved to CA.He seems to have some sort of connection to Samuel after Samuel moved to MO.
Sarah (Polly) Snow b. abt 1795 m. James (or Samuel?) Taff. Some people have that she married Samuel Taff instead of James Taff.Marriage record for OH says James.Died in Saluda Twp.
Samuel Snow b. 1795-1800 moved to Ray Co., MO
Ambrose Snow b. bef 1806 widow Nancy Madden Snow and son John Snow moved to Jackson co., IN.
James Lewis Snow b. bef 1810 moved to Ray Co., MO
Mary Snow b. 1818 m. James Taff.Died in Saluda Twp.
There is also a Prince Snow b. 1830 and died 1857 who is buried at Mt. Zion Cem., Saluda Twp., Jefferson County, Indiana. On the 1850 census, he is listed in Hendricks, Shelby County, Indiana.
I don't if these people are siblings, cousins, or not related at all, but I have them all in one family group just to facilitate research.
Snows in Hendricks, Shelby County, Indiana are:
JOhn Snow b. ca. 1805
Mary (Johnson) Snow b. ca. 1808
John and Mary m. 19 JUl 1825 Clark co., Indiana
Children: Charles W., James, Robert, John, Samuel, Isaac, and three unnamed. They possibly moved first to Fountain couty, then Hendricks Shelby County, then finally in Franklin, JOhnson County, Indiana.
I have the Jefferson County group connected to the Clark County (Prince Snow) group, but only because of the fact that Jefferson County was once part of Clark County. Samuel is listed as residing in Lancaster Twp. in 1820.I don't know where EXACTLY in Clark county Prince Snow was living, BUT all the other Clark County Snows come from NC to OH to IN while the Jefferson County group seems to have come from TN to KY to OH to IN.
I've never heard of Mary Mallory, but the line as listed doesn't work. There is no George Snow listed as the son of Prence Snow and Hannah Storrs, gandson of Mark Snow and Jane Prence. There is a Prince Snow born ca. 1774 of Plymouth, MA, but I've never been able to find anything about him except that he existed. There is also a Prince Snow listed for Clark County KENTUCKY in 1800. He MAY BE the Prince Snow of Clark County Indiana, but I'd love to find more info. I don't have any info on the George Snow of Virginia who was the Rev. War Vet.
I don't think I've straightened anything out, but your info added a few more pieces to the puzzle.
