Many thanks for your most welcome message.
What relation are you to Walter Albert Tagg? I have a good deal of information about him, supplied by an Australian descendant. If you let me know what information you have (or don’t have) about Walter Albert and his descendants, I will be happy to send you any relevant information.
Charlotte Tagg married my grandfather Alfred Charles Dalton in 1899. They lived for a year or so in Margate, Kent, UK and then moved to Folkestone, Kent, where they remained for the rest of their lives. They had 11 children. I have details of them and most of their families. If you let me know what information you would like to have about Charlotte and her descendants, I will be glad to send it to you. Would you prefer a GEDCOM file or a printout?
I have now found our Tagg family in the 1881 census. They appear in the LDS transcription as “Lagg”! I have also found them in the 1871 census but have not so far found William Tagg and/or his parents or Sarah and her parents in the 1861 census. Nor have I been able to trace William’s birth registration or any information about his father. I would therefore be very interested in any information that you have about William and Sarah.
Do you also have any information about what happened to Charlotte’s three sisters (Sarah Ann, Elizabeth and Catherine)?
I look forward to hearing from you. You may like to email me direct at the following address: [email protected]
