Jesse Taintor was an early settler (1824) in Hartland (also called Canterbury), Huron County, Ohio. His son, Lucien, married Betsey J. Waldron. The Waldrons came to Ohio in 1821 from Bristol, Ontario County, New York. The Taintors were also from New York (according to the Census). Does anyone have any information about this branch of the family? I have some information about them in Ohio which I'd be happy to share.
