Thank you so much for the information on this clan. I have read each message in the thread with great interest and appreciation. You are clearly a great resource for The Taintor Family GenForum (and other genforums, I note).

I am not, sad to say, a Taintor descendant* but instead study the Duryea/Duryee family. As I try always to follow the female lines at least two generations, this brought me to Mary Duryee Jewett and her husband Charles Taintor.

If it happens that you come across any additional information on this couple's progeny, I would be grateful to hear from you again!

Meanwhile, I again thank you very much for your extra efforts to see that I had the benefit of your expertise with the Taintors.



*--It happens that my daughter was born in Windham Hospital, Windham, Connecticut, but that's about as close as I get to the Taintors ;-)
