The Talty's you speak of are Carhuduff Miltown Malbay Talty's I would think, this is in the area of Dunsallagh. Church records are as follows

Mother Mary Moroney

Francis Talty 1/12/1833
Jane Talty 12/3/1835

Perhaps the Jane was Joan. The Peter (Snr) originated in Glendine Miltown Malbay,
